I wanted a yearlong engagement, a high fashion yet comfortable wedding and all the trimmings. But when I found out I was pregnant with our first child, plans changed. My fiancé and I decided to move up the wedding, which gave us only 4 months to plan! Heidi was my lifesaver. She took my very vague and broad ideas and brought them to fruition.
I am from a small town and wanted that homey, intimate feel of the weddings I attended growing up. I had also worked in the wedding industry for a few years and had seen all the pomp and circumstance that big-money weddings can have, and I wanted a little of that, too. Heidi made it possible for me to have both. I had elegant table settings and a sweeping gown in the setting of a woodsy white schoolhouse. Not only did I get everything I wanted, I was able to afford it all. Heidi helped me keep within my budget and helped me find creative ideas for favors, decorations and menu planning.
On the big day, Heidi was my rock. She made sure I was at my most comfortable – which isn't always easy with a 5-month pregnant bride! The ceremony was perfect and the food divine. I never had to think of any details. I actually got to sit down, enjoy my first meal with my husband and give thanks to my family for all their support. Heidi took care of making sure all the events like bouquet throwing and cake cutting were at the appropriate time.Because I know and love Heidi, it is never an amazement that she does her job well – it is what she is passionate about and has genuine drive to do. What is amazing is that she not only made my wedding a success, but she did so as a member of the wedding party! She was able to fulfill all her bridesmaidly duties like decorating my car and helping me put on my 4-inch heels all the while directing the caterers, musicians, rental company, set-up crew and keeping my mother calm! Heidi is a fabulous friend and she can throw one fantastic wedding.
Sincerely,
Cathy
